WHAT WE BELIEVE
When it comes to doctrine, culture, preferences, traditions, lifestyles, politics, behavior, etc., Mars Hill Church takes a “closed-hand/open-hand” approach. The closed hand hangs onto the non-negotiable tenets of Christian orthodoxy: sin is the problem, Jesus is the answer, the Bible is true, and Hell is hot. The open hand, however, allows room for differences when it comes to secondary matters. Click to read more from the main Mars Hill website.
WHO WE ARE
When the apostle Paul stood atop Mars Hill, he proclaimed good news to a diverse people steeped in philosophy, culture, and spirituality. Mars Hill Church seeks to continue that legacy in modern-day Seattle. Our city is a place much like first-century Athens: a marketplace of ideas, a vibrant arts community, and a metropolitan hub.
WHERE WE ARE
Our church is located in the historic Lobo Theater in the Nob Hill area of Albuquerque. We are located one block east of the University of New Mexico.
WHAT WE DO
Who we are, and what we believe, inform how we live in the time and place God has placed us. Beyond Sunday services, Mars Hill Church follows the biblical model of getting together midweek in Community Groups to share lives together in the mission God has given us. Guests become members of our church family and enjoy teaching and equipping to love and serve others like Jesus.
Nob Hill Albuquerque is the cultural epicenter of New Mexico which makes Mars Hill Albuquerque a strategic outpost for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the South West region. Mars Hill Albuquerque’s passion is to love the city by working for the betterment of the city culturally, socially and individually by sharing Jesus in word and deed.
